NOVEMBER  5TH...

         ​The Two Rivers Heritage Foundation’s ‘history mixer’ this Tuesday features Two Rivers members Gary and Mavis Anderson on the topic of the "Canadian Maritime Provinces, Acadia and Evangeline".  Gary will cover the travelogue drawn from their vacation last August, and Mavis will trace the process of "history" becoming "story," and 'historical fiction" becoming accepted as "fact."  We will meet at the usual 5:15 to 6:45 time at Lynn’s Rendezvous Room, 120 Farquhar Street, on the corner across from the Navasota Post Office.   Members are always urged to bring a guest or two and the public is welcome.

November 7th...On Thursday, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Apinya Srikhwanthong and Rebecca Dias of the Brazos Valley Art Council’s artists at the Horlock House at 1215 East Washington in Navasota will release their book, “Navasota is Beautiful”.  The coffee table book relates the history of Navasota as seen by the eyes of the artist in a children’s book.  The public is welcome.
November 12th...Jeff Carroll returns to the Two Rivers Heritage Foundation 'History Mixer' for more Tales of How Texas Became Texas.   Lynn's Rendezvous Room from 5:15 to 6:45.
Thursday, November 14th ... TWO RIVERS GENEALOGY WORKSHOP……Marie Fuqua will again give a Two Rivers Heritage Foundation genealogy workshop at Lynn’s Rendezvous Room beginning at 5:15 p.m.  Workshop topics will be ”General Tips for Finding Ancestors Before 1850" also “More Tips on Using Family Search".  Marie will also touch on a non-genealogy topic of “How to Create Easy-to-Remember Passwords.”  The workshop is free and the public is welcome.
November 30th … Fanthorp Inn “Firelight” event at Anderson from 4:30 to 7 p.m.
